Love is in the air, as are notorious Cleveland fun-seekers Thrive Cleveland, at Told#9 on Thursday, June 24 at 7pm. For this special event, Thrive and Told are joining forces to bring you a lovely assortment true tales. We will be at  Market Garden Brewery in the Harbor Room / Spirits Bar, which we will open up at 6 before the show.

Clevelanders have to be tough–so the saying goes–but each also has at least a tale or two about a letting that guard down for a minute and letting someone else in. Relationships bloom in this town more often than its perennials, with some of those romances growing to happily ever after and some ending in disaster. Some Clevelanders could tell epic tales of dating scene mishaps, or decades long yarns of how two people finally found each other. Maybe after all was said and done, you figure out that above all, what you love without fail is Cleveland itself. In order to celebrate our willingness to love each other, our significant other, and our city, Thrive and Told present Told#9: Love in Cleveland.

Our featured storytellers for Told#9 are Thrive co-founder and one-time wedding officiant Scott Simon and wedding photographer Lindsey Beckwith. As always, we expect to hear many stories from audience volunteers.

All audience members are welcome (but not required) to prepare a story on the theme and put their names in the bucket for a chance to tell their tales. Stories should be under 6 minutes, true, and have yourself as the central character.
