Ashtanga Yoga is a 90-minute class offered Saturdays 10:30-noon. Ashtanga is the original vinyasa method dating back many thousands of years. Because of this unfamiliar type of yoga practice it will be introduced to students in a slower manner. Students will learn and become stronger and more fluid. This is a challenging class but one that can be modified to find the balance, strength and flexibility needed in each pose. You will be surprised how a weekly practice can change the way you feel about yourself. Ginny will help you along with hope that you will learn to enjoy this practice and take it home to practice when unable to come to class.
