Get away from it all on the Farm!

Quiet Farm Pond+ Baby Goats + Yoga = Happy Place

Replace your red mind with a blue mind! Why are we color coding minds? Come to class to find out... and yes, baby goats are involved too! As in less than a week old baby goats!

The term "Blue Mind" has been coined by Dr. Wallace "J." Nichols describing how we feel when we are in on near or under the water. We now have the science to prove it! Blue Mind refers to a mildly meditative, relaxed state that we find ourselves in when we are in, on or under water. It’s the antidote to what we refer to as “red mind,” which is the anxious, over-connected and over-stimulated state that defines the new normal of modern life. Research has proven that spending time near the water is essential to achieving an elevated and sustained happiness. There is scientific evidence that being close to bodies of water promotes mental health and happiness.

Now lets add goats to this! This class will take place on the front lawn of Feels Like Home Farm, in front of the scenic pond. How are goats involved? In your yoga practice equate the goat with the "noise" of life...can you sit on your mat, put down the cell phone and not be distracted with our adorable farm friends playing and jumping around us.

It will certainly be a practice like no other!
